Since I didn't walk in with too high of an expectation, I didn't walk out the place with too big of a disappointment. This is basically how I feel about the place. 1. The place is clean. 2. The price is fairly cheap. 3. The food is not the best and definitely not the worst. So if you are in the mood for some not-at-all authentic quick Chinese food, but you don't have a lot of money to spend, this is a good choice............... Oh how I miss china town, in Houston...

I have to be very disciplined, or else I end up eating here four days a week. By far the best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to (leaps and bounds ahead of anything else locally!) The owner and wait staff are all extremely friendly, and aside from having come in at the wrong time once or twice and run into a half-empty buffet, I have not had a single bad experience here. Good food, calm and quiet, great staff...Love it!

I have a hunting cabin an hour from here. Was pleasantly surprised to find this nice little buffet. I ate here twice this week. 24 hot selections and all I sampled were very good. Small salad section, a few deserts and a soft-serve ice cream machine. The place was clean, the staff was just fine, the elevator music was at a very low volume :O) Lot's of customers both days. It aint brats and beer at the shack but I'll be back!

Their food is certainly nothing special, but it's cheap and since it's a buffet, it's quick. They do not restock their buffet enough, a lot of the food is overcooked, they put out strange things that no one in their right mind would eat (think mystery Las Vegas buffet) but some of their items are tasty, like the Crab Rangoons (when they actually re-stock them, half of the time the bin is empty) and the Sesame Chicken.

This is the worst Chinese Buffet I have ever been to in my life. If you go in you'll be able to tell just by looking at the selection. If you are daring enough like myself to even try it you'll be glad to know that I literally had to stab the sweet and sour chicken to pick it up and there was one stab that wasn't successful that sent the over fried, dried chicken across the room. No, I am not kidding. I truly despised this place.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
